Launched on 1 October 2019, the Smart City Challenge is a competition in which Brussels residents are invited to share their best ideas for the region. The Brussels-Capital Government is convinced that these contributions can help to develop a regional policy for a "smart city".
First category: Mobility
The first area on which Brussels residents are invited to reflect is mobility. The basic idea is to increase the number of cyclists on our streets. An excellent idea, of course, but.... how do you see Brussels' future in terms of mobility?
Every two weeks, a new category is added to the contest. You can make suggestions in all categories until the contest closes.
In short, share your proposals, get the audience to like it and win the competition!
How to participate?
Visit Smartcity.brussels to share your idea. The portal administrators will assess its relevance. If it is deemed relevant, your idea will be published on the site. All you have to do now is cross your fingers to ensure that your initiative wins the largest number of votes. Indeed, the three ideas that won the most hearts (likes) in each of the Smart City categories will win a terrific prize.
