Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques
The SACD is the oldest authors' society in the world (founded in 1777). It is also the leading organization for managing audiovisual fiction rights (screenwriters, directors, dialogue writers, web creators, etc.).
SACD’s services focus on rights management, social and tax advice, and intellectual property rights. They also provide information, training, and guidance — notably through the BELA program — as well as financial, artistic, or social support, and coworking or hosting opportunities at the MEDAA headquarters.
Most services are free for members, although a small contribution may sometimes be requested (for example, for training).
