- Brussels job seekers who opt for self-employment as their main occupation and are supported by an approved structure.
How much?
The grant is up to €4,000, distributed progressively over 6 months:
- €1250 in the 1st month
- €1000 in the 2nd month
- €750 in the 3rd month
- €500 in the 4th month
- €250 in the 5th and 6th months

The Brussels Economy and Employment start-up grant
The business start-up bonus is a financial aid provided by the Region to individuals with entrepreneurial projects. It helps cover specific expenses related to starting their business. These expenses can include:

- Childcare costs
- Subscription fees for a Region-approved coworking space
- Consultancy services (such as market research or feasibility studies)
- Training programs
Who is it for?
Any individual aged 18 or older who hasn’t been self-employed in the 3 years before submitting their application can apply.
How much?
The intervention rate is 60% of eligible expenses, with a total cap of €7,500 per project.
