In 2024, hub.brussels will continue to raise the profile of Brussels in major international markets, with a focus on Europe. Two-thirds of our actions take place in Europe, which offers a wealth of new products and opportunities less than two hours from Brussels. Find out more about your future export markets and the unmissable events in your sector!
Each export market opens up an infinite field of opportunities for those who know how to unlock its codes and customs. And since international success is all about a few - small - subtleties, we are opening the doors for you with our International Network. Our teams in Brussels and our representatives in around 30 countries around the globe have put together a rich and varied programme to help you develop and promote your company across rivers, seas and oceans.
50 ways to discover new markets
In March, we kick off the prospecting process gently in Brussels with our famous Export Talk Show, a sort of Late Night Show featuring the main stakeholders of the Brussels export scene. We also plan to hold two webinars to familiarise you with e-commerce, whether you are prospecting in neighbouring countries, China or Africa (via our African Business Session).
In April, take a look at the opportunities offered by NATO with the NATO Business Industry Day! Two webinars will outline the business opportunities offered by Spain and Brazil, while our economic mission to Cameroon will take you behind the scenes of this natural gateway to Central Africa.
In May, companies wanting to take action on urgent social and climate issues will meet in New York for our impact mission, and those interested in the Vietnamese market will meet for a dedicated webinar.
June undoubtedly kicks off our biggest international actions, with an economic mission to Serbia and another - royal - mission to Norway, a seminar in Denmark on the business opportunities offered by the United Nations and, online this time, those offered by Expo 2027, the African market and e-commerce in the USA.
(Re-)enter the international market
This autumn, we will head to Turkey, one of the world's top 20 economies, while Brussels will host the second Export Talk Show of the year, as well as a seminar focusing on the Dominican Republic.
In October, we will lead missions to Vietnam, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Canada (via the MTL Connect trade show), as well as an exclusive visit to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London. There will also be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the European and Japanese markets from the comfort of your living room via our dedicated seminars.
And to round off the year in style, we are offering two final Export Talk Shows in Brussels, as well as three business trips - to Saudi Arabia, Brazil (a royal mission) and France (via a road show).
Promote your sector abroad
Some countries lend themselves more to certain types of sector than others. Saudi Arabia, for example, is THE global rendez-vous for healthcare technologies, while France stands out for its property fairs, such as MIPIM. So we have made sure that Brussels has a presence at the world's places-to-be, in a whole range of sectors that are either growth markets or priorities for the Region. Join our stands and make your mark on the international scene!
