Project leader grants
Since it’s usually a good idea to plan your business project before creating it rather than learning afterwards that the project wasn’t viable, the Brussels-Capital Region offers three pre-startup grants. The grants may be for you if you don’t have a company number yet.

The consultancy grant
You sometimes need to work with a consultant who is an expert in your field. The Brussels-Capital Region will pay up to 60% of your consultancy fees as long as the mission is for one of a dozen predefined fields.

THE PREMIUM FOR THE PURCHASE OF A BUSINESS
The (im)tangible investment premium is available for the purchase of the tangible part (machinery and equipment) of a company but also for the expansion or improvement of an existing establishment by taking over the trade fund (taking over the net assets). The support ranges from 5% to 15%.

Sometimes a company must comply with standards, a legal or administrative decision or a permit during its lifetime. Although these investments can be restrictive, your company can get support via grants.

Is work being done on the public highway in front of your business and traffic has been interrupted for at least 29 consecutive days? Noise, access difficulties, reduced visibility, nuisances make it difficult to patronise your business. Under certain conditions, the Region will grant a set compensation amount of up to €2,700 to micro-enterprises!

Are long-term public works preventing traffic from passing in front of your business? Would you like to take advantage of this to renovate your façade or shop window? Benefit from a bonus of 40% of the cost of the renovations or improvements.

THE PREMIUM FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL JOINERY (WINDOWS AND DOORS)
The work eligible for the premium is the installation and replacement of main door and/or external joinery, including work related to the installation of ventilation systems. The premium is between €40 and €150/m² of doors or windows.

THE “ZERO WASTE CATERING AND FOOD RETAIL BUSINESSES"
Thanks to this Call for projects, Bruxelles Environnement is supporting retailers who are committed, curious and willing to experiment with the implementation of zero-waste projects which will reduce packaging, containers and other single-use disposable accessories used in hospitality and food industries in the Brussels Region.

Other grants
The energy pack
The “Energy pack” is intended to support the implementation of concrete energy measures during the fitting out or renovation of buildings. Regardless of their current reflection or action phase, the project invites company heads and their employees to implement a number of different and growing energy measures to streamline energy management over the long-term.
