The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme is a unique opportunity for novice and aspiring entrepreneurs to develop their skills and broaden their professional horizons. This cross-border exchange programme, financed by the European Commission, aims to stimulate the internationalisation and growth of SMEs while better-preparing start-up entrepreneurs.

Programme details

How long does it last? You can choose an exchange period of between one and six months, depending on your needs and availability.

Where can you go? The destinations are many and varied: from Western Europe to Eastern Europe, you're bound to find a country that matches your ambitions.

What funding is available? The European Commission will provide financial support for part of your stay. However, it's crucial to ensure that you have sufficient funds to cover your living expenses.

Who can take part? To be eligible, you must :

• Have recently set up your own business or have a solid and viable long-term business project.
• Reside in one of the countries participating in the programme.
• Be prepared to contribute your expertise and energy to the host company.
• Be prepared to supplement European funding.

How do I apply? It's a straightforward process with a few key steps:

• 1. Prepare your application: this involves completing an online application, including your CV and a detailed business plan.
• 2. Find a partner: you can use our platform to search for and select a host entrepreneur in the country of your choice.
• 3. Draw up a work plan: once you've found your partner, you'll work together to create a work plan outlining the objectives of your stay and the tasks you'll undertake. 
• 4. Formalize: to make your participation official, you'll need to sign a commitment contract with your partner and the organization managing the program.
