MAD BRUSSELS gives the city of Brussels a new impetus and clearly expresses its desire to provide the design and fashion sectors with strategic support.

In addition to promoting and showcasing the Brussels fashion and design sector, the Center for Fashion & Design wants to stimulate, support and encourage creative initiatives. Innovative, sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurship plays a very important role at MAD. Designers can get help in developing their own brand and label. Together with a lot of Brussels creative talent, MAD Brussels builds the creative character of the capital.

MAD is about empowerment. To ensure the success of a brand or project, MAD gives creators the key to unlock their creativity and business potential.

MAD is helping starters and entrepreneurs to define a sustainable business model as from the early stages of business, providing solutions to financing, product development, manufacturing, sales as well as digital awareness and future branding. 

MAD is happy to share our extensive network of (inter)national experts and our best practices.

Specific programmes or tools offered

MAD has different business programs, offering various expert guidance at different stages of your business development :

  • MAD Starter
    • You have a great idea to set up a business in Fashion or Design, you have a clear vision about the product and the customer segment. The MAD business team will help you with the initial steps such as completing the business model canvas.
  • MAD Fly
    • This program is an individual coaching programme for young entrepreneurs who want to develop their business.
  • MAD International
    • This program allows Brussels companies to obtain 1 year of coaching to boost their business on an international scale.
  • MAD Incubator
    • It support designers and creators who are aiming to question the current challenges of the fashion and design sector and the society at large.
